The Bold Bezant Chain is a substantial interpretation of the heritage chain first worn by Mirel’s grandfather and passed down through generations. This original family heirloom is the piece that sparked her lifelong fixation with chain-making — the weight, the ridges, the movement, and the quiet power of solid gold. The Bold Bezant honors that lineage with larger, sculptural column links crafted entirely by hand, preserving an artisanal tradition that has all but disappeared in an age of machine-made chains.

Each link is carved from solid 18k yellow gold and finished with painstakingly hand-cut ridges. The matte surface catches light in a soft, refined glow, while the thicker profile creates a confident, architectural presence preferred by many men and collectors. Despite its boldness, the chain moves like butter in the hand — a hallmark of true handmade construction, where every link is individually shaped, polished, and assembled for optimal fluidity. The piece is completed with a hammered gold end-cap set with the house’s signature blue diamond and the MÌREL hallmark.
