Anno Domini Micromosaic Pendant Necklace

One-of-a-kind, handmade micro-mosaic pendant composed of individually set stone tesserae within an 18k yellow gold frame. Each micro-mosaic is executed entirely by hand over the course of several months, using contemporary adaptations of ancient mosaic techniques. This level of tesserae precision and density is exceptionally rare in the modern day and is produced exclusively by the House of MÌREL.

The frame features hand-etched ridges along the edges and back and is accented with four princess-cut corner diamonds. The chain incorporates Apollo bars in varying sizes, each set with diamonds in white-rhodium accents, creating a refined interplay of color and texture. The pendant design references a historic symbol found in a Byzantine-era church in Israel. The piece is finished with a hammered gold logo end cap accented by a blue diamond.
