The Bezant Chain

The MÌREL Bezant Chain is a heritage design inspired by the chain worn by Mirel’s grandfather and passed down through generations. This is the chain that ignited her lifelong obsession with gold chains — their weight, their movement, their architecture. The modern MÌREL interpretation preserves that legacy with entirely handmade construction, a rarity in a world of machine-manufactured links.

Each column link is sculpted in solid 18k yellow gold and finished with painstakingly hand-carved ridges. The matte gold surface subtly catches and diffuses light, creating an elegant, quiet radiance. The chain moves like butter in the hand, with a fluidity only possible in pieces made link by link, by hand. Timeless, architectural, and deeply personal, the Bezant Chain is designed to be worn for decades — and passed forward to the next generation.

The piece is completed with a hammered gold end-cap set with the house’s signature blue diamond and the MÌREL hallmark.
